5 Ways to tell your MOM “I LOVE YOU”!

Mother’s Day is coming around the corner, and everyone is scrambling to find THE perfect gift for the one who loves you the most. If your mother is anything like mine, you’re supposed to thank her every day for her sacrifices and devotion to making our lives better!  Here are our creative suggestions that are much more thoughtful than store-bought flowers and more unique for a unique gal.

1. Give her a massage!  What better way to say, “Mom, I appreciate you” than to treat her to a personal head and shoulder massage that is easily done at home!  Fire up some scented candles, brew some iced tea and oil up those hands!
2. DIY Magnets! A throwback to when she used to put your star artwork on the fridge, you can make her some magnets filled with family love. Purchase magnet paper from your local arts and crafts store, and print off some of your favorite pictures right on the paper. Easy peasy :)
3. Create a Mom Bible! Document any words of wisdom she has stowed upon you over the years! Fun tip: each lesson could be written like a story with a moral at the end of it. If you are an artistic person, challenge yourself to illustrate it as well.
4. A playlist of her favorite music you remember from your childhood. Everyone’s music needs some updating here and there, and what better way to do that than with some classics? Mom will thank you for taking her on a trip down memory lane, to the great times BEFORE she was a mom.

A Mother's Day Shout-Out From the Winky Team

This Mother’s Day, we want to give a huge shout-out to the women in our lives that helped make us the awesome guys and gals we are today. Without them we wouldn't be here following our dreams, serving our fans, and having tons of fun in the process. Robyn: As time has passed and I have gotten a little wiser, I've realized the saying is true that "Mother's are the glue that holds families together." My mom is patient, kind, survived cancer, runs my dad's business, takes care of my grandma's needs, helps take the burden off my sister by picking up the kids, cooking dinner, household chores, and being the ear that listens to her 3 children everyday. I am thankful and blessed to have a mother who sacrifices and shows us the true meaning of a mother's love.”
